Who processes the data
Controller: the National Youth Foundation (FNT), 22 Christian Tell St., Bucharest — linguafest@rotineret.ro. Co-organisers and recipients: ANPCDEFP and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Translation, which receive participant lists solely to organise LinguaFest 2026.
What we collect
Name, email, phone (optional for young people), age, category (pupil/student/young person/teacher), school or organisation (optional), languages spoken (optional), attendance option, tour option, whether you need accommodations (yes/no), the consents ticked and when. For teachers: school, number of pupils and class — we do not collect pupils' names.
Why and on what basis
Organising the event: participant lists, managing places, sending confirmations and practical information, the satisfaction questionnaire. Basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box in the form. Event photos/videos: the consent in the same form.
For how long
Until 30 days after the event (25 October 2026), then the data is deleted from the database, backups and the organisers' correspondence; partners are notified to delete the exports they received.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, withdrawal of consent (without affecting prior processing) and complaint to the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP). Write to linguafest@rotineret.ro.
Where the data is
On FNT's server, in the European Union. We use no third-party analytics and do not transfer data outside the EU.
The text in the form
This form contains personal data. The organisers undertake not to disclose any of the information in this form to third parties. Email addresses will be used to send connection details, information about the event and the satisfaction questionnaire. If photographs/videos are taken during the event, by completing this form I consent to their publication on the website and/or social media channels of ANPCDEFP and of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Translation. These photographs/videos will not be used for commercial purposes. Data controller: the National Youth Foundation (FNT). Data is shared with the co-organisers ANPCDEFP and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Translation, solely to organise the event. Data is stored on FNT's server and deleted 30 days after the event (25 October 2026).
